FX Renews Better Things, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia & The Weekly

Better Things which just got a 5th season renewal is an American comedy-drama television series created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K. for FX, starring Adlon as a divorced actress who raises her three daughters on her own.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia with its record breaking 15th renewal is an American sitcom that premiered on FX on August 4, 2005, and moved to FXX beginning with the ninth season in 2013. It was created by Rob McElhenney, who developed it with Glenn Howerton. It is executive produced and primarily written by McElhenney, Howerton, and Charlie Day, all of whom star alongside Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito. The series follows the exploits of “The Gang,” a group of narcissistic friends who run the Irish bar Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Weekly which has a second season pickup is an American narrative investigative journalism docuseries that covers recent topical news and cultural stories, and is a television spin-off of the widely successful podcast, The Daily. Produced by The New York Times for FX and Hulu,
