‘Doc Savage’ TV series has been greenlit

Neal H. Moritz’s Sony-based Original Film along with Sony Pictures television has partnered with Condé Nast Entertainment to put together a Doc Savage tv series. Doc Savage is a fictional character originally published in American pulp magazines during the 1930s and 1940s. He was created by publisher Henry W. Ralston and editor John L. Nanovic at Street & Smith Publications, with additional material contributed by the series’ main writer, Lester Dent. The show will chronicle his adventure as Savage deals with everything from  rampaging dinosaurs to  secret societies led by dastardly villains, fantastic gadgets and weapons, death-dealing traps, hair-raising escapes, and plots to rule the earth.
