Mighty Marvel Mix Podcast 19: Marvel at 80: Uncanny X-Talk

Welcome True Believers, this is the Mighty Marvel Mix, a Podcast brought to you by the Taylor Network of Podcasts. This is a podcast for fans of all things Marvel! Comics, movies, TV, merchandise, we’ve got you covered with news, views and reviews.
In this episode, your hosts Paul Shearman and Darrell Taylor continue with our on-going celebration of 80 years of Marvel Comics, as we review the beginning of a new chapter for the original X-Men with the start of the iconic Chris Claremont era.

We begin with Giant-Size X-Men Issue 1, co-created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum and published in May 1975. We then move straight into Uncanny X-Men Issue 94 through to Issue 100. These issues were published between September 1975 and March 1976. If you’d like to read along, you can find them on the Marvel Unlimited app or in trade paperback format in comic book stores.

We’d love to hear from you with your thoughts on the episode and what you’d like to hear from future shows, so join in the conversation by emailing us at mightymarvelmix@gmail.com or finding us on Twitter at @marvelmix and Instagram at @mightymarvelmix
