Double Page Spread ep 211- Tom Scioli

One of the most innovative uses of licensed characters in comics has to go to Tom Scioli and John Barber’s “Transformers vs. GI Joe”, now available in a hardcover “Quintessential Collection” from IDW. Scioli joins Wendi on this episode to discuss the life lessons of Jack Kirby, the larger spiritual implications of the Autobots, the mixture of media he uses, indie artists getting mainstream properties, and the complexities of letting so many characters take the lead in a massive story.
