Following the announcement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s engagement, USA Network has officially announced Markle will be leaving Suits at the end of Season 7.
USA and Universal Cable Productions released the following statement:
“From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement. Meghan has been a member of our family for seven years and it has been a joy to work with her. We want to thank her for her undeniable passion and dedication to Suits, and we wish her the very best.”
Markle and Patrick J. Adams who plays her fiancé on the show, were not expected return after the seventh season, so this is not shocking new. Both have been with the series since Season 1
Markle’s character Rachel and Mike (Adams) are engaged on the show. Maybe a long-postponed wedding will happen in the upcoming final Season 7 episodes. Stay tuned, kids..
