Warner Bros. has moved the release date of the coming Wonder Woman 2 from Dec. 13, 2019 to Nov. 1, 2019. The change moves the film’s release seven weeks ahead of Star Wars: Episode IX, which opens on Dec. 20, 2019.
Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins, was a massive hit for Warners with $412 million in domestic grosses and $409 million internationally. The film was the 20th highest domestic grosser of all time. It is the second-highest-grossing 2017 title after Beauty and the Beast.
Gal Gadot can be see this week as Wonder Woman in Justice League. Both Gadot and Jenkins will be returning for Wonder Woman 2.
