In the coming season of the BBC series Doctor Who, Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker will be joined by three new cast members. Bradley Walsh (Law & Order: UK) as Graham, Tosin Cole (Hollyoaks) as Ryan, and Mandip Gill (Hollyoaks) as Yasmin. Also joining the series in an unspecified “returning” role is Sharon D Clarke (Holby CityIn a statement, new head writer and executive producer Chris Chibnall said:
“The new Doctor is going to need new friends. We’re thrilled to welcome Mandip, Tosin and Bradley to the Doctor Who family. They’re three of Britain’s brightest talents and we can’t wait to see them dive into brand new adventures with Jodie’s Doctor. Alongside them, we’re delighted that Sharon D Clarke is also joining the show.”
Doctor Who will return to BBC and BBC America on Dec. 25, with Whittaker succeeding the Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi.
