It Sequel Release Date Announced

It, currently in theaters, is directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Jaeden Lieberher, Bill Skarsgård, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer and Chosen Jacob.

Now, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the sequel to the film will be released in theaters on Sept. 6, 2019. Muschietti will return as director. Gary Dauberman, who wrote the first film, is slated to return to pen the sequel.

The sequel picks up 27 years after the events of the first film. Casting for the adult Losers Club has not been announced, but the film will reportedly include flashbacks featuring the cast of child actors from the first film.

It has already broken box office records grossing $478,096,375 worldwide so far making it the the highest-grossing horror movie of all time.
