Pulse is described as a superhero origin and coming-of-age story that combines elements from the crime and science fiction genres. It focuses on a teenager investigating the murder of his brother. He falls under the sway of a mysterious mentor and develops a superhuman ability that will help him discover the truth about his brother’s death.
