Wynonna Earp Renewed

Syfy is bringing Wynonna Earp back for a third season. The announcement was made during the show’s panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

 The series, based on the IDW comic series created by Beau Smith, stars Melanie Scrofano as the great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp, who uses a demon-killing gun and a dysfunctional posse to bring the paranormal to justice.

IDW Entertainment President David Ozer cited fans as the reason Syfy renewed the series saying:

 “Syfy recognized that passion and when coupled with superior writing, acting, directing and production values, saw that Wynonna Earp was more than just a distinctly unique television series.”

Currently misway through it’s second season, the show also stars Shamier Anderson as Dolls, Dominique Provost-Chalkley as Waverly and Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday. You can catch it Friday nights on Syfy.
