Prism Awards Nominees

The inaugural  Prism Awards will be presented Saturday during the Queer Comics Expo at SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco. This year’s judged are Rob McMonigal, Ajuan Mance, Kirwan McHarry, Jon Erik Christianson, Jack Baur, AJ Real, Mel Reiff Hill, Nia King, Brian Andersen, Heidi MacDonald, Mey Rude and William O. Tyler.

The past few years has seen in increase in comics featuring LGBTQ+ characters and creators. As the medium becomes increasingly diverse, it’s only natural that’s reflected in industry awards. Enter the Prism Awards.
