The adaptation of Joe Kelly’s graphic novel I Kill Giants stars Zoe Saldana, Madison Wolfe, Imogen Poots, Noel Clarke and Ciara O’Callaghan. The film tells the story of a misfit girl battling real and imagined monsters in her life. Wolfe plays the main character Barbara, while Saldana plays her school psychologist:
Anders Walter makes his feature-length directorial debut of the film that features a screenplay adapted by Kelly. The film has yet to get an official release date.
Illustrated by J.M. Ken Niimura, I Kill Giants won a Gaiman Award in 2013; the International Manga Award in 2012; was named to the “Top Ten Great Graphic Novels for Teens” in 2010 by the Young Adult Library Services Association; as well as “Best Indy Book of 2008” by IGN; and was an Eisner Award finalist.
