Sony plans for a Mysterio and Kraven the Hunter solo films

The Hollywood Reporter did a profile report focusing on new studio CEO Tom Rothman who revealed plans for films  centering on the classic Spider-man  rogues Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio.

Kraven the Hunter (Sergei Kravinoff) is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is one of Spider-Man’s frequent enemies and the half-brother of Dmitri Smerdyakov, better known as the Chameleon. The character first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 (August 1964), and was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko

Mysterio is the name of several fictional characters, supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly as enemies of Spider-Man. The first and most high profile incarnation of Mysterio is Quentin Beck. The original Mysterio  was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and first appears in The Amazing Spider-Man #13
