Damon Lindelof In Talks For Watchmen TV Series

Damon Lindelof is in talks for a potential Watchmen TV series for HBO. Zack Snyder  was briefly attached to the project in 2015. Snyder previously adapted the comic for the big screen in 2009. The film grossed$107.5 million domestically and $185.3 million worldwide on an estimated $130 million production budget.

Lindelof is best known for his work on Lost, the rebooted Star Trek films and Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. He just wrapped three seasons of The Leftovers on HBO.

First published by DC Comics in 1986 and collected in 1987, Watchmen was created by Alan Moore, artist Dave Gibbons and colorist John Higgins. The series was named as one of the 100 best novels by Time magazine.

Stay tuned, kids…
