Star Trek: Discovery Gets Order Increase AND Companion Aftershow

After a series of setbacks, we have some good news about the coming CBS All Access series Star Trek: Discovery. CBS has ordered two more episodes for the first season, bringing the total episode count to 15. It has also been announced launching a new companion show entitled Talking Trek ,in the vein of Talking Dead and Talking Bad. There are no details about the companion show as of yet.

Star Trek: Discovery, set a decade before the events of Star Trek, stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp, with Rainn Wilson appearing as Harry Mudd. The series is slated for a fall premiere on CBS and CBS All Access.
