2018 will bring the launch of a new DC Comics-branded digital platform. The launch brings a new live action Titans series and Young Justice: Outsiders.
Young Justice: Outsiders is a revival of Cartoon Network’s Young Justice. The series aired for two seasons, from 2011 to 2013. It was previously announced there would be a third season of the series. Young Justice: Outsiders will be executive produced by Sam Register, and produced by series creators Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, The new season will find the teen heroes facing their greatest challenge as they fight meta-human trafficking “and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.”
Titans will be written by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti. The new live actin series will feature such characters as Dick Grayson (presumably as Nightwing), Starfire and Raven. Titans will be executive produced by Johns, Goldsman, Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.
Warner Bros Digital Networks Group previously launched Boomerang. The CW, co-owned by Warner Bros. and CBS, has its own digital platform, home to the animated Vixen with Constantine and Freedom Fighters: The Ray coming soon. Warner Bros.
