Wreck-It Ralph Sequel Gets a Title

WRECKING THE INTERNET — Wreck-It Ralph is heading back to the big screen—this time he’s wrecking the internet. John C. Reilly returns as the voice of the bad-guy-turned-good, Ralph, and Sarah Silverman once again lends her voice to the girl with the game-winning glitch, Vanellope von Schweetz. Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, and produced by Clark Spencer, the untitled sequel hits theaters on March 9, 2018. ©2016 Disney. All Rights Reserved.

The sequel to Disney’s 2012 Oscar-nominated animated comedy Wreck-It Ralph hits the big screen March 9, 2018. During the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon, it was also announced the title will be Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. The film will be directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, who also co-wrote the story. The film sees John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch all reprising their roles.

Rich Moore said in a statement:

 

“To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore. Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”

The film will add some new characters, but the center of the film is is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope. Stay tuned, kids…
