Bad Boys 3 Loses Director

Director Joe Carnahan will no longer be directing Bad Boys 3, a.k.a. Bad Boys for Life,  allegedly due to scheduling conflicts. Carnahan also wrote the most recent draft of the script. Rumor has it the departure was related to “creative differences” and a director search is already underway and as well as possibly a new writer.

Michael Bay directed the first two installments of the franchise released in 1995 and 2003. The new film, which reteams Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, recently set a Nov. 8, 2018 release date. No word on whether that date will change. Stay tuned, kids.
