Finding Dory director Andrew Stanton will helm the fifth and sixth episodes of the upcoming season along with Rebecca Thomas for episode seven , executive producer Shawn Levy for three and four with series creators Matt and Ross Duffer handing episodes 1, 2, 8 and 9. Debuting Oct. 31 on Netflix, “Stranger Things” Season Two picks up in 1984, about a year after Will’s return. It also stars returning cast members Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Matthew Modine. They’re joined by Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen and Brett Gelman.
The second season of Stranger Things will delve deeper into the mystery surrounding Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), who was liberated from the supernatural world of the Upside Down at the end of Season One. Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) will struggle with the responsibility of lying about the events that transpired in Hawkins, Indiana, in hopes of keeping the Byers family safe.
