Mary Elizabeth Winstead is cast as Nikki Swango, “a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing.” Ewan McGregor was cast in twin roles as brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy; Emmit is the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, while Ray is a parole officer who blames his brother for his problems. Carrie Coon also joined the series as Gloria Burgle, the practical chief of police.
