“Grimm,” will come to a close with its upcoming sixth season on NBC. Created by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angelt” veteran David Greenwalt, “Grimm” has been airing on NBC since 2011 when it debuted on a Friday night to an audience of just over six million viewers. Now averaging under six million viewers during its fifth season.
Grimm is an American police procedural fantasy television drama series about Homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Department learns he is descended from a line of guardians known as Grimms, charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world called Wesen, the German word for being or creature. Throughout the series, he must battle against an assortment of dangerous creatures, with help from his Wesen friend, Monroe, and his partner, Detective Hank Griffin.
The sixth and final season of “Grimm” begins airing on NBC January 6, 2016.
