Thanks to EW, we have a look at the coming Big Trouble in Little China/Escape from New York crossover comic from Boom! Studios. The book, coming this October, is written by Greg Pak and with art by Daniel Bayliss. In the book, Jack Burton is transported to the dystopian future of 1997, where he meets his taciturn, eyepatch-sporting doppelgänger Snake Plissken. BOTH characters were played by Kurt Russell in the John Carpenter directed films. Check out the images:
Boom! Studios is also publishing two non-fiction books this year by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry to mark the 30th anniversary of Big Trouble in Little China. The Official Making of Big Trouble in Lttle China hits stores in August. The Art of Big Trouble in Little China comes out in November.
