Lionsgate will adapt the series for the big screen, with writers of “The Nice Guys’” Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry set to write the script. “Jekyll” went for one season in the UK and focused on the story of Doctor Tom Jackman, whose dangerous alter ego, Mr. Hyde, threatened to destroy everything Jackman ever loved. In the series, Jackman’s friends Katherine and Peter were the only people who could help control Hyde when he was in control of Jackman’s body.
