The coming CBS Star Trek revival has added Nicholas Meyer. Meyer will serve as a writer-producer, working with executive producer an showrunner Bryan Fuller. Meyer directed Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and also co-wrote the fourth and the sixth movies in the franchise, the latter of which he also directed.
Created by Alex Kurtzman and Fuller, the series will premiere in January 2017. The series is not related to the upcoming installment Star Trek Beyond, which hits theaters this summer. Stay tuned, kids…
