You may not know the name, but you know the voice. Joe Alaskey was one of the actors who was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Alaskey also provided the voices of Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat and Plucky Duck. In 2004, he won an Emmy for his work in Cartoon Network’s Duck Dodgers and was nominated for an Annie Award that same year for Looney Tunes: Back in Action for his Daffy Duck. Aside from his work in animation, Alaskey provided the voices of President Nixon in Forrest Gump, Stinkie in Casper, narrated Investigation Discover’s 2014 series Murder Comes to Town and impersonated Jackie Gleason’s voice to help repair the audio on “lost” episodes of The Honeymooners.
