Although everyone was hoping the Twin Peaks revival would premiere in 2016, it looks like that will not be happening. Multiple media outlet are reporting that the series will not be coming util 2017. Notably, Variety’s Cynthia Littleton tweeted:

The series has already begun production. The plan is to shoot the series as a movie with Lynch then editing it into individual episodes.
