So, it looks like the fifth Alien film has some news. Director Neill Blomkamp hit Twitter for an update on his Alien film:
alien is kinda holding/ pending prometheus 2. So I shall be working on other things… as much as I love the xeno- and Lt ripley

The project was announced in February and has both Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn on board to reprise their roles as Lt. Ellen Ripley and Corporeal Dwayne Hicks. Prmoetheus 2 is coming – and we will have to wait for the next Alien film…. Stay tuned, kids…
