USA Network and Universal Cable Prods. have given the go ahead for a two-hour backdoor pilot for “The Wilding.” The supernatural drama will be executive produced by “Heroes’” Tim Kring. The show comes from writer/creator Silka Luisa (“To the Bone”) and the two-hour pilot will be directed by “Citadel” helmer Ciarán Foy.
“The Wilding” is about the Hayes family as they welcome home their 17-year-old daughter Kayla, who has been in a mental health institution for the past decade. The stay in the hospital didn’t help Kayla, though, as she is again plagued by visions of dead people.
