ALAN MOORE’S ELECTRICOMICS LAUNCHES WITH NEW MATERIAL FROM GARTH ENNIS, COLLEEN DORAN AND MORE

The official iTunes description: “Electricomics is a digital comics reader app, which gives you free access to innovative digital comics by some of the best writers and artists in the business.”  Soon it will  incorporate an open-source “creator tool,” intended to give users the opportunity to create and package their own digital comics

Electricomics now has four free comics stories: “Big Nemo,” by Alan Moore and Colleen Doran, described as a “rejuvenation” of Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo; “Red Horse,” written by Garth Ennis and digitally painted by Frank Victoria, called a “moving story from World War I;” “Sway,” a”time travel sci-fi story” written by Leah Moore and John Reppion and drawn by Nicola Scott; and “Cabaret Amygdala Presents: ‘Second Sight,” a “creepy little horror story in the EC tradition” written by Peter Hogan and illustrated by Paul Davidson.
