The Mask (1961) Insane Canadian cheapie about a tribal mask that causes whoever wears it to hallucinate and commit violent crimes. A psychiatrist receives it in the mail from his recently deceased patient, who told him all about it. Three times in the movie, the doctor is asked by voices in his head to “PUT ON THE MASK” at which time the viewer puts on his 3D glasses and goes on a 5 minute trip with flying skulls, eyeballs, severed arms, and fire, among other things. Lucky for me I always keep a couple pairs of red & blue 3D glasses near my TV! Lots of fun!
