The 2006 BOOM! Studios miniseries by Keith Giffen and Kody Chamberlain, Tag is being optioned by Fox. John Leonetti set to direct.
The comic version is about a man who’s “tagged” on the street by a stranger, and saddled with an ancient curse that causes his body to begin to decay. He’s faced with a dilemma: Watch himself die, or find somebody else to tag.” But the fim version is being positioned as a psychological thriller with a female protagonist.
Ross Richie, Stephen Christy and Adam Yoelin will produce the film for BOOM!
