CW president Mark Pedowitz in a presentation at the Television Critics Association made some comments on doing more dc comics spinoffs and why her passed on the Supergirl show that was picked up by CBS.
“There is no intention, at this point, to spin anything else off,” said Pedowitz,
Pedowitz expressed regret over passing on “Supergirl” — a show developed by the same team behind “Flash,” “Arrow” and “Legends.”
“We hadn’t launched ‘The Flash’ yet, we weren’t ready to take on another DC property,” said Pedowitz, as reported by Deadline. “In hindsight we probably should’ve gone that direction… Sometime you lose great shows.”
