Double Page Spread Episode 119- Zack Kruse

Zack Kruse has been organizing the well regarded Appleseed convention in Fort Wayne, IN, as well as putting out his own stories and doing academic work in comic history for some time. He has a chat with Wendi about nurturing young creators at conventions, fairy hoaxes, if Dana Scully was a pragmatist or a dogmatist, and a lengthy discussion of his research on the reclusive Steve Ditko- who really created Spider-Man, similiarities between Peter Parker and Blue Beetle, his use of objectivism and the introspective nature of his work. It’s an interesting discourse for anyone fascinated by the backstory of Marvel Comics and Stan Lee.
